Tooth Alignment

Crowded or irregular teeth can be gently straightened in as little as 2-3 months. This is a major step forward for cosmetic dentistry. The Inman Aligner and clear aligners are incredible removable orthodontic appliances which can move front teeth to a pleasing position without need for 'train track' fixed appliances. The advantage of being removable is that they can be taken out for social engagements, photographs, meetings etc. 

Aligners are excellent for correcting teeth that have relapsed after previous orthodontics, for example if the retainers have been lost or not worn. People are often surprised how quick and easy it is to bring teeth back to the position they once were, aligners do this well in a fraction of the time that fixed braces would take. For more severe crowding aligners can still work well with the aid of other simple appliances and don't require extractions.

Crowded or rotated teeth can be aligned prior to porcelain veneer treatment. The advantage of this method is that less enamel needs to be removed at the veneer preparation stage. For example if a perfect smile is desired and a tooth protrudes out of the arch, then the protruding tooth would have to be heavily cut down with veneer treatment alone, but with pre-veneer alignment, the offending tooth is gently moved into the ideal position, and only minimal veneer shaping is required.
