Oral Health Check-up

Regular dental check-ups are essential to ensure your mouth is a healthy place and looks great. Full medical and social histories are part of this so make sure you tell the dentist about any medications, investigations or treatments you have.

Smoking and drinking habits need to be known because these can affect you teeth massively. Oral cancer screening, gum, jaw and bite checks are also carried out. X-rays are often taken where necessary, and these can check for problems long before they make themselves apparent.

You will be told about any areas needing attention, if you need to brush up on your brushing, the frequency of visits required and ways to prevent problems in the future. We will always listen to you if you are unhappy about your teeth in any way at all - just ask and you will be told about any areas that can be improved.
